Pedagogue

I’ve often had friends ask ne why I never sought out an academic career, even though apparently UI have an academic temperament. I’m not sure that I do, though. I don’t think I have the necessary attention span and concern for details. My dad was an academic, and I’m very much like him. I thought of this today because I ran into an old friend at an art gallery and we started chatting about many different subjects, until my friend told me that she didn’t have a notebook and that she felt she always had to be writing shit down whenever talking to me.
